The Swarm

Seriously disappointing. This was a long book and I invested a lot of time in it. I liken Schätzing to Stephen King in that he is extremely long winded. He takes pages to tell what could have been summarized in a paragraph. The book had an interesting premise. I was thrilling and provided food for thought but then it devolved into a save the climate lecture and a treatise on comparative religion. I finished it but I will not revisit it in the future.

The question remains... are we alone, and if not, do we share the earth with something else.
