A worthy classic, a bit confusing at first but it gets easier to grasp as you get further in. The format of this war story is weird to say the least. Time travel is deployed to add a lightness in events that should probably darken your heart to no end. How much death and suffering can one take in one sitting? This isn't a light read with any stretch of imagination. But Vonnegut isn't your typical sci-fi writer.
